By now, we hope you’ve seen the artwork for our first game Honey Bomb. If you haven’t yet, here’s a pic of Queen Zizi.
Does she look excited to you? She should be. She wants to see RAMSTAR Games have a successful Kickstarter for Honey Bomb. To do so, we need to produce a short print run of the game as close to its final vision as possible for board game reviewers. The game needs to be seen being played and talked about. But that’s not what Queen Zizi is excited about. She knows that doing a short print run of the game will cost money. Unfortunately, RAMSTAR Games doesn’t have that kind of capital.
So what is Queen Zizi excited about? Well, she knows what we have planned to raise that capital. We’re selling the original artwork for the game—framed, matted, and ready to hang in your home.
That’s right, you can adopt your favorite bee or flower from Honey Bomb. Or maybe you would prefer the bear, the beekeeper, or the pesticide artwork? All the artwork is done in airbrushed acrylic and detailed with watercolour pencil. Each piece comes in a 9” x 9” frame with a mat cut to a snazzy hexagonal shape.
There are 14 pieces in total. Each is being sold for $195 CDN, which includes taxes and shipping.
We are currently developing & designing merchandise to also help with raising funds. More to come on that. In the meantime, if you’d like to help us out by buying yourself or someone you love original Honey Bomb artwork, click here to make your purchase. (This link will take you to Sean Chappell’s online art store, Red Fracture, where you can make your payment through a secure checkout.)
We also accept donations, which can be made through our donation page. Should you donate, be sure to sign up for our newsletter to download the print and play edition of Honey Bomb, if you haven’t already. We also have colouring sheets available for free as well.
And lastly, for those of you with a Kickstarter account, be sure to follow our pre-launch page so you can be notified as soon as we go live with our campaign in the spring.
