RAMSTAR Games began in a basement in Cambridge, Ontario and it didn’t even have a clue! Three friends, Sean, Kit and Sabrina came together to bat around a concept for a simple tabletop tile game. When things started to look like they might be getting serious then the real work of building RAMSTAR Games began.
Our core principle is simple: “It has to be fun.” This not only refers to the games we plan to develop but the journey of the partnership as a whole. We’ve all agreed, that when the undertaking becomes a tedious, stress-filled mess, we’ll call it a day and walk away.
But we predict that day to be a long way off! We’ve had so many great experiences on our short journey so far. We’ve met amazing people in the gaming cafes and game shops of Ontario, and we’ve interacted with avid gamers on social media who have been open, friendly and full of advice. For that, we are grateful.
It’s been a great journey so far and we’re only getting started! Now let’s meet the team…
UPDATE: Kit has decided to take a more modest position with Ramstar Games due to time constraints and will be assisting us on a part time basis.

Idea man. Artist. Rockstar! I’m a first generation Canadian born to English parents which basically makes me whiter than white. Yep. The sun burns me…and it succeeds. Often. But I try not to be too grumpy. That is the suns nature. It doesn’t know any other way to be.
Art is my nature. I think it. Eat it. Breathe it. Create it. I don’t know how else to be either. And now, I’m taking those creative skills and spinning fun out of them! My “Little Book of Big Ideas” is filled to the brim with a decade’s worth of new gaming ideas. Honey Bomb is just the beginning.
My two besties are Kit and Sabrina. They are working with me on this journey of tabletop gaming excellence, their skills complimenting mine. I’m also an avid fitness buff and the proud parent of two stunningly unique Siamese cats. If I had to sum myself up in a catch phrase it would be, “You ain’t seen nothing yet!”

Maker. Artist. Macgyver of all things crafty! Got a tear in your Cosplay? I can fix that! Forgot your pencil at home and can’t draw? I’ve got your back! Need to prototype a new board game that you just thought of? My studio is this way please…
With more hobbies than I know what to do with most days—sewing, drawing, scrapbooking, bookbinding, painting, crocheting, and chainmail (to name a few)—and a slightly overwhelming addiction to art and craft supplies, I’m always ready to take on the challenge of figuring out how to make something. So, when Sean approached me and Kit with the idea of a table top game, I was all in!
I am loving working on board games and couldn’t ask for a better team. No matter how tired I am from a day at work, I am always re-energized after a RAMSTAR Games meeting. As an Avid Gamer myself, this is a wonderful adventure we are undertaking in developing our own board game. Whether you’re just stopping by or along for the ride, Welcome! And more importantly, have fun!

Quiet. Introverted. Schemer. After a couple of hours of socializing, you’ll see me yawn then retreat to a corner, notebook in hand, and start scribbling notes about the injustice of it all, cat herding, and how to take over the world one word at a time.
I enjoy being an indie author, and have a reputation online for having written The Forgotten Gemstone, The Other Castle, and The Starry Rise, sci-fantasy novels known collectively as A Xiinisi Trilogy. My secret loves? Hanging out with my husband Sean, playing with our two wily Siamese cats, collaborating with my friend Sabrina, and short horror stories. When I’m not writing them, I have my nose buried in a horror anthology.
An occasional artist, I have played with painting, drawing, sculpting, acting, sewing, and am currently exploring digital design with a focus on book cover art and… games. I’m excited to help streamline board games with Sean & Sabrina, to be a play test tester and a sounding board and getting involved with the local gaming community.
